About Alder Concrete Group
HISTORY
Founded by Matt Alder in 2006, Alder Concrete Group is a leader in providing concrete superstructure solutions to General Contractors and property owners.
After 10 years of working at a local construction firm, Matt started the company as a one-person operation, completing total station and surveying needs for property owners and General Contractors. As an independent owner Matt, was continually challenged servicing the demands of a successful business, often turning down opportunities to maintain current clients.
Chris Buchanan, a former co-worker of Matt’s, joined the company in 2013 as a partner, increasing Alder Concrete Group’s capabilities in project management and estimating so the company could offer a full range of services for larger projects.
Although Matt and Chris had spent significant time working for General Contractors, it was quickly decided that was not the direction for the next phase of Alder’s growth.
From 2013 to 2016, they observed, experimented, and educated themselves on all things concrete, eventually identifying and refining an innovative niche market and service for concrete superstructures. Since then, the company has focused on acquiring and developing the right talent and partnerships to fulfill the needs for this market.
Adam Baier joined the leadership team in 2016, bringing a wealth of project management experience to the business, allowing Alder Concrete Group to expand and manage multiple, large-scale projects simultaneously.
The knowledge and expertise of the company’s skilled installers and service professionals has been instrumental to the businesses’ growth and success. The team members are helpful, precise, and dedicated to the success of its partners’ projects.
